Had an amazing time with the family in Skye and so glad we stayed at marmalade. This has got to be one of the best, if not the best, hotels we have stayed in around Scotland over the years. Hotel has recently opened with a newly built wing, which had amazing views and was exceptional from cleanliness to service of the staff. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were silent, none of that annoying hotel noise! Breakfast was great. Coffee really good, as hotels go (probably the best I've had for a long time). No family room but they ensured we were next to each other which was great. The hotel restaurant hasn't quite opened for dinner but they put us up in their sister restaurant. See my Dulse and Brose review. I won't stay anywhere else in Skye from now on

We stayed in the new part of the hotel not long opened. Decor beautiful very modern and lots of lovely wee touches. Bed amazing very comfortable, beautiful toiletries throughout hotel. Staff extremely helpful and lovely to chat with. We had dinner in sister hotel (The Bosville- Dulse & Brose, food amazing but book in advance. Breakfast was exceptional, will definitely be back here again for another visit

Had a really lovely time here - hotel has just opened large extension and most rooms now in this wing. Lovely staff who can’t do enough to make you want to come back! Everything very top quality, fresh and modern design, great breakfast and uber comfortable beds!

Overlooking the beautiful harbour town, an Edwardian country house in landscaped gardens with a sleekly modern interior. Skye-crafted natural fabrics, in soft greys and heathered mustards, feature alongside local materials and artwork. Bedrooms vary in size, but most look over the garden, the bay, the Cuillin hills beyond; extra touches: a sound system, capsule coffee machine, luxury toiletries. Large period windows in the coolly contemporary restaurant give far-reaching views. Local specialities include a traditional chargrill; fresh oysters delivered daily. The bar opens on to a patio overlooking the bay. Breakfast includes porridge with cream, brown sugar, perhaps whisky, followed by a full Scottish. Marmalade is part of the Perle Hotels group.
